Disease Prevention

Do you know that a good diet could help you fight a disease better than if you had a diet of mostly potato chips and soda?

You also have to get some sleep and exercise so you can fight off evil diseases.

Staying clean is another way to prevent diseases.

You need the vitamins: A, C, E, B2, and B3 to help your white blood cells fight diseases.

Your white blood cells are colorless blood cells that destroy germs and diseased cells. B-cells are a special type of white blood cells that produce antibodies. Antibodies are proteins that help destroy germs in the body.

Also, to prevent diseases you can get a vaccination or take an antibiotic.

A vaccination is a shot given to provide immunity, and is made with dead or weakened disease causing microbes. An antibiotic is a medicine that stops the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Antibiotics should not be taken if you have a viral infection. If you do, it could harm you!!!
