How It Works: When germs enter the body, certain body cells make a chemical. The chemicals called antibodies help destroy germs in the body. Cells of the body produce different antibodies for different kinds of germs.

        What Body Parts are Included: Spleen-filters blood, thymus-protects against disease, lymph nodes-collects and destroys bacteria, white blood cells-produce antibodies, antibodies-fights viruses.

        What System Needs to Work Properly: Exercise, good nutrition, take vitamins, eat healthy food on daily basis that immune system needs to work, and herbs and spices.

        Interesting Facts-Jonas Salk of United States developed a vaccine for polio, and sneezing and tearing gets rid of germs.

        How System Prevents Diseases-You take vaccination to prevent diseases, you take antibiotics to stop the growth of them, the immune system fights diseases by producing antibodies, eat good food, and nutrition and exercise a lot. Also herbs, spices can help prevent diseases.
