Immune System

The body parts included in the Immune system are: Lymph nodes, tonsils, appendix, bone marrow, antibodies, white blood cells, spleen, & adenoids.

When a germ enters the body, certain body cells make a chemical called an antibody, which helps destroy germs in the body. This is how the Immune system works.

To keep the Immune system working properly you need to eat good food, exercise, get plenty of rest, & keep your body clean. If you do this you will stay healthy!!!

To prevent diseases the Immune system also has white blood cells to make antibodies, tears & eyelashes to keep your eyes clean, & small nose hairs to keep mucus out of your lungs.

Interesting Facts
