This project is
designed to last several days both in the classroom and in the computer
lab.

Summary
description:

Because many of
our children are introduced to each other for the first time in kindergarten,
it is important to spend time encouraging the children to get to know one
another.

Point access, complete with a template

Light ware,
computer, T.V., etc. (some form of multimedia for displaying slide show)

Procedures:
·
Teacher takes
picture of each student and puts each photo into a slide/template to be saved
under each student’s name.
·
Assign each
student a partner.
·
Have partners
interview one another, asking the following questions.
i.
What is your
first and last name?
ii.
When is your
birthday?
iii.
How old are you?
iv.
What is your
favorite color?
v.
How many people
are in your family?
·
Students record
responses.
·
Each student
enters data about their partner into the pre-made Power Point template.
·
The slide show
will be on display for viewers at Open House.
